The Narco IDME-895 combines a VOR/LOC/Glideslope Indicator with a DME Receiver and Indicator and Marker Beacon Indicator. This configuration puts more information directly in front of the pilot. The DME portion of this radio can show distance or ground speed on the LED display at the bottom. The ground speed information is displayed by pressing the OBS knob.

However, please be advised that the IDME-895 is not a standalone unit (such as the NAV-121 or NAV-122).

• The IDME-895 requires the Narco NCS-812 for VOR/LOC/Glideslope reception and DME channeling.
• The IDME-895's Marker Beacon Indicator requires a connection to a remote Marker Beacon Receiver, such as the MKR-101R or CP-136M.
