Unfortunately, Loran is essentially defunct today:
- US and Canadian Loran stations were turned off in 2010.
- European Loran stations were turned off in 2015.
Loran has now been completely replaced by GPS. If you are interested in a GPS, please tell us your needs and budget. We would be happy to make some recommendations.

The King KLN-88 offers something beyond an ordinary Loran. It is IFR certifiable. It also has a complete feature set and sharp graphics.
The King KLN-88 also features:
