WX-500 offers great picture of a storm before you see it!

I have used these units on other A/C... I like it better than color Radar... Coming from someone who while on their FIRST Cross Country solo in perfect weather got surprised by a Sizeable Thunder storm on a Day when Flight Service said there was no chance of weather and it would be a great day for my Solo! If I had had this unit back then, I could have diverted in time to one of several airports... As it turned out, the Powers above allowed me to survive an get home safe... Information of this type is paramount, and my plane in avionics mod will have one as long as I have it... I highly recommend these units, it is truly a product that can give you information to Save Your live and help you keep your draws clean from lack of surprises... There is no substitute when it comes to finding a Storm with Lightning in it of any intensity. Radar is Nice, but Bulky and Heavy and very difficult up to impossible to install on a single engine plane, and the Storm Scope will more accurately show you where the lightning and storm is better than Color Radar! I would never have another plane with out this device... Bennett has great prices, Good Service, and a Highly trained and friendly staff that most certainly want to help out, and they really helped me out with this unit! I have dealt with them with other avionics as well, and they are always great to deal with, fast and expedient with answers and shipping out orders that are overly well packed! Again..
